I probably am too old to be watching Y&R, but I became infatuated with your character Jana. It was your accent that drew me wondering from where in the UK your accent is, but I soon realised that your accent is a mixture of UK accents. You see, my mother migrate to the USA with her parents. They shipped out of Liverpool. They had lived in Bolton, Lancashire, and in the late 1800's to the early 1900's my mother's mother performed in the Bolton Playhouse. My grandmother was known as Madame Blanche Hughes. The Lancashire accent is differerent than the many London accents but I remember my mother quite often used a cockney accent. Just some info about one of your fans, - me. I miss seeing your on Y&R, but maybe you can appear again on Y&R perhaps as Jana's hitherto unknown twin which Y&R often writes into a script. Hi emily. It's still so weird to see Y&R without you. I was shocked to see what happened to Jana, it was unexpected. I would have liked to see her live, like go on the run like daisy and ryder. I knew that Y&R would feel weird for a while without you and it still does. I miss u on the show. I always especially looked forward to watching when u were on. Anyway, I was wondering what you have been doing since Y&R? I hope that your having a great summer so far.

Emily, I am very sad you will not be on Y&R. You are such a talented actress. I know you will have many opportunities come your way. I must say emily when I found out you were leaving the young and the restless I was upset. My grandparents are up in their late 80's and early 90's. I go in every day to check on them and help them and I got watching the young and the restless. I know 27 year old guy watching a soap right? LoL! Only took a few days to realise how great you are. With you leaving its not going to be the same. Your way to perfect for it ever to be the same. I guess its their loss. Youll be perfect knowmatter what you do! -

Emily, I too am sorry that you are no longer going to be on Y&R. I do hope they will bring you back in the not too distant future. I did see you portray Gwen when I was on business in LA. I am really heartbroken that your contract was not renewed and hope you will consent return to the soap when the writers get their act together. Hello all! Thank you for all of your lovely messages. I have read each and every one of them :) It has been bittersweet saying good-bye. I love the Y&R family very much, but at the same time I knew it was my time to go. I have NYC on my mind and other projects I am hoping to experience. It has been an incredible 5 year run and the fans have contributed so much positivity to my experience! Please keep in touch, as will I and I will be sure to keep all of you updated. As you all know I have my final scenes coming up, and I am quite nervous to see what the reaction to them will be! Let me know your thoughts on Jana and her exit.
